Description
This design is a more contemporary version of a traditional CLAMSHELL BOX. The “notch” refers to the cutout in the fourth wall of the box tray. While maintaining the self-closure properties of a CLAMSHELL BOX, the fourth notched wall adds a bit of style to the box and stability to its contents. The notch allows for the easy removal of the items in the box.
This notched clamshell box is designed to hold contents that measure 11″ x 8 1/2”, however if you order an 11″ x 8 1/2” PORTFOLIO or RING BINDER and would like the box to fit, in the depth selection menu choose, “build to fit the portfolio that I ordered” and it will be built larger to fit the portfolio.
All boxes are handmade to order and will be covered in your choice of the many colors of fine linen and coated metallic bookcloths that are available. You can choose to have your box covered entirely in one color or you can choose to order a multi colored box.

Storage and presentation pockets are available in a variety of styles and orientations and can be added to any box. Debossing and Foil Stamping are also available. You can add one of these unique personalization options to your box in the personalization section of the online store.
